Llano Events - Golden Gem Rendezvoux - MINELAB Metal Detectors
Enchanted Rocks & Jewelry is located in the Texas Hill Country about 70 miles West of Austin on State Hwy. 16. We are now open at the historic Llano Uplift Rock Shop. The Rock Shop has been in Llano since the mid 60's and was operated by the Hazlewood family through the late 90's. After years of being closed, we had the opportunity to reopen this famous shop under the management of Frank Rowell & Patricia Felts. Our goal is to preserve the family friendly atmosphere and Customer service this shop has been known for.
Llano County Courthouse
Llano will be the site for the Third Annual GoldenGem Rendezvoux & Rendezvoux, Featuring the Great State of Texas Gold Panning Championship. Relive an 1890’s gold rush on the Llano River, at Badu Park. Pan for gold in the river, compete for prizes, shop at the gem show or just have fun. There will also be flint Knappers making arrowheads, metal detector competition, gem and jewelry booths, food and music both Saturday and Sunday. Friday will be set up day and there will be an evening mixer with food and music for all participants. Period costumes are being encouraged
There are spaces available for gem and mineral, jewelry, flint Knapping and gold dealers. Knappers and panners who do not need table space are welcome without space rent. 12'x12' spaces for sales ONLY, are $25. Demonstrations with sales or display are $10 for all three days. Camping and RV spaces are also available. If you plan to demonstrate any craft, please let us know on the application form. Applications for both events will be available soon.
Inside spaces are now available but are limited. 10'x10' for $25. plus $5. for electric. Reserve your space today before they are sold out.
