Llano Events - Golden Gem Rendezvoux
Enchanted Rocks & Jewelry is located just North of the Llano River on State Highway 16 in historic Llano, Texas, where the deer and the antelope play among pink granite hills thrust up against a blazing blue sky. Stop by and see samples of nature's wonders and the beautiful jewels made from them. We also feature hand-woven rugs and textiles, unique giftware, t-shirts, sterling silver and a variety of handmade products that change with the times and seasons. We create many of our own handcrafted products with local materials, especially Llanite, a stone found nowhere else in the world.
Click on this map for larger viewLlano will be the site of the 3rd Annual Great State of Texas Gold Panning Championship. Come to the Goldengem Rendezvoux and relive an 1890’s gold rush on the Llano River, at Badu Park. Pan for gold in the river, compete for prizes, shop at the gem show or just have fun. There will also be flint Knappers making arrowheads, metal detector competition, gem and jewelry booths, food and music both Saturday and Sunday. Friday will be set up day and there will be an evening mixer with food and music for all participants. Period costumes are being encouraged
There are spaces available for gem and mineral, jewelry, flint Knapping and gold dealers. Knappers and panners who do not need table space are welcome without space rent. 12'x12' spaces for sales ONLY, are $25. Demonstrations with sales or display are $10 for all three days. Camping and RV spaces are also available. If you plan to demonstrate any craft, please let us know on the application form. Applications for both events will be available soon.
Inside spaces are now available but are limited. 10'x10' for $25. plus $5. for electric. Reserve your space today before they are sold out.
Last year the Knappers Rendezvoux & Gem Show was held in October as part of Llano's Heritage Celebration. There was live music, gold panning and metal detecting competitions, flint knapping demonstrations, food and fun for the whole family.
